Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

Bought this package from Guitar Center for $300 because I am just starting out and wanted soemthing inexpensive.

Amazing sound for an entry-level set. I tried other more expensive sets at the store and could not find much difference in the sound quality (except for the cymbals, you might want to upgrade.)

The only thing I could say on the down side are the cymbals, not the greatest but hey, what do you want for $300?

Really surprised at the construction, seems really good and the finish is great. The hardware is really adequate for the money.

This is definitely the set to get for beginners or those that want a knock-around or practice set. I don't think there is anything out there even in the same ballpark for the price!
